Bog-Weaver is a small, opportunistic hunter that lurks in the most stagnant pools of the swamp. It rarely ventures onto dry land, preferring the safety of the submerged roots where it can hide its small frame. When threatened, it releases a cloud of noxious vapor to obscure its escape. Many larger predators ignore it due to the bitter, oily substance covering its back.
