The Deep-Reef-Monarch rules over the coral-encrusted ruins of the temple's outer sanctums. It commands a legion of smaller water creatures to maintain the temple's pristine state. It is known to be very regal, often sparing travelers who leave offerings of polished glass or seashells. Legend says its crown is made from a fallen meteor found centuries ago.
