Lore
Flare-Skitter emerges only when the sun is at its zenith to harvest thermal energy from sand. They are often preyed upon by larger Ember creatures but evade them with quick, jerky movements. When threatened, they release a puff of blinding desert dust. These creatures are the base of the crystal desert ecosystem.
