The Inferno-Drake is a survivor of the great crust-shifting era, having adapted to the high sky islands. It commands the respect of all lesser fire-dwellers through sheer intimidation and heat output. These drakes are fiercely solitary, marking their territories with molten claw-marks on the underside of floating rocks. Despite their aggression, they maintain a strange symbiotic relationship with sky-moss, which they protect from extreme cold.
