Scorch-Mites gather in massive colonies within the dunes of the glass desert. They survive by feeding on the lingering thermal energy of cooling silicon shards. Their hives are often mistaken for shifting dunes until the ground begins to vibrate. They are highly territorial against other subterranean insects.
