Lore
The Sludge-Drifter is a heavy, slow-moving creature that thrives in the muddy depressions of the crystal desert. It is highly resilient, capable of surviving for weeks without water by burying itself in the shade. Its slime is surprisingly sought after for its cooling properties by other creatures, leading to frequent commensal relationships. When it moves, the sound is described as a low, wet tearing noise against the dry sand.
