Spore-Drifter

Spore-Drifters are essentially floating fungal colonies that drift over the swamp, spreading microscopic spores. They have a hive-mind intelligence, sharing knowledge across vast distances in seconds. Despite their delicate appearance, their spores can paralyze the nervous systems of predators, rendering them harmless for days. Travelers fear them because they are known to steal memories from those who inhale too many spores.
